Three-vehicle accident temporarily shuts down U.S. 250 near Ashland County Road 1400.

Perry Twp. Roughly around 3:37 PM Ashland Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jeromesville EMS responded to U.S. 250 East and Ashland County Road 1400 of a three-vehicle accident between a 2012 Black Jeep Liberty, a 2023 Red Chevrolet Silverado Pickup, and a 2011 Motor Coach Industries 4500 E Charter Bus. Luckily there were only minor injuries to the pickup driver, and no one else.

According to the Ashland Ohio State Highway Patrol, said; " All vehicles were traveling eastbound on US Highway 250 East when the 2023 Red Chevrolet pickup driven by Drew Turner, (37) of Jeromesville, Ohio was turning left onto Ashland County Road 1400, and a 2012 Black Jeep Liberty driven by a Timothy Hersey, (55), of Ashland, Ohio stopped behind it waiting for it to turn, then next thing they noticed was the charter bus coming up very fast so they got over to the right side of the roadway, and as far as they could, and next thing they knew they got hit by the 2011 Motor Coach Industries 4500 E driven by a Jeffrey Cook, (63), from Beloit, Ohio that had continued passed them and broadsided and struck Mr. Turner's Silverado Pickup vehicle that was turning, and then both vehicle's ended up in the westbound lane, and Mr. Hersey's vehicles ended up in the eastbound lane of US 250.

Mr. Turner was looked at by Jeromesville EMS, and treated and released at the scene. Mr. Hersey and his passenger were not injured. And also Mr. Cook was not injured as well. Both lanes of U.S. 250 were temporarily shut down until the wreckage and debris could be removed.

Mr. Cook was cited for Assure Clear Distance Ahead. Other agencies assisted on the scene were Aber's Towing and Bates Towing.
