Structure Fire Claims life of family Pet in Crestline, Ohio.
Springfield Twp. - Roughly around 9:39 PM Springfield Twp The Fire Department and EMS got a call of a house on fire and two occupants were trapped inside of the 900 block of State Route 181. Once the firefighters were on the scene flames and smoke were coming from the backside of the residence, and the homeowner was out of the home.
Jefferson Twp provided mutual. The Fire Department, Galion Fire Department, Crestline Fire Department and EMS, Shelby Fire Department, and also a private ambulance service from Lexington were called to the scene but it got sent back because it was not needed,. Also Crestline Police Department assisted in traffic control. American Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the couple for housing, as the house had a lot of smoke, fire, and water damage.
Also the couple was not injured and no firefighters were injured fighting the fire. It took about a half hour to battle the fire.
