Shelby Man Life was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Vermillion Twp. Hayesville Fire Department and EMS, Ashland Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Ashland County Sheriff's Department responded to 2210 State Route 60 for a single motorcycle accident.

According to Ashland Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2016 Black Harley Davidson driven by Bryan Chelski of Shelby, Ohio was being taken to University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center with unknown injuries by Hayesville EMS. Mr. Chelski was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

Mr. Chelski was traveling southbound on State Route 60 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway into a ditch.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
