Serious Injury Semi Crash on US 30

Vermillion Township – On Monday, July 8, 2024, at approximately 02:58 AM, 2024
Mack Semi-Truck and Trailer were headed eastbound on US 30 near State Route 60. The
semi traveled off the roadway to the left before the driver overturned in the median. The semi was hauling a load of milk during the crash. The driver’s status and other information will be updated later. US 30 remains closed while the crash scene is being cleared. US 30 eastbound at State Route 60 is expected to open before 07:00 AM.

Please use an alternate route for the time being.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
Assisting at the scene are the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Hayesville Fire and EMS,
Jeromesville Fire Department, EMS, and Ashland Fire Department, Cleveland Metro Life Flight, Aber’s Towing, and Crane.
