Elyria – The Milan Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred today at 12:34 p.m. on the Ohio Turnpike in Elyria, east of the Route 57 interchange.
The preliminary investigation showed an eastbound Subaru Crosstrek, operated by Jackson Williams, 23, Broadview Heights, drove off the left side of the roadway after losing control and struck the concrete median barrier wall. The Subaru then came back onto the roadway. It hit the trailer of a Peterbilt semi-tractor, operated by Jonathan Pate, 30, Dallas, and was then struck by a Dodge Ram, operated by Gary Clark, 59, Centerville, Mich.
