Here are the photos of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile at Ashland Walmart 4-7-24

Ashland - The famous Oscar Myer Wiener Mobile visited the Ashland Walmart on Sunday, April 7, 2024. When the Weiner Mobile pulled into the parking lot there were a lot of people waiting for its arrival to see it up close and personal. When it was parked at one side of the parking to the crew walked inside to speak to the Walmart management to see where they were supposed to park the Winnie mobile, the people started to check out and take photos with or of it.


Once the crew had found out where to park they announced to the crowd that they were moving the Wiener mobile to in front of the building under the logo name, and to meet up there to see it. Once it got moved and they got all set up a line about over 100 people was excited to see it. They were greeted by the crew of the Wiener Mobile Chloe Van-Caeseele aka (Clo-Wienie), and Mary Clare Kammer aka (Chili Cheese Mc), they explained how things would go and that each person would get a wienie whistle and they asked that they would take pictures on the other side for better photo opportunity, and they would get a chance to look inside only by the steps but not to go inside.

As the day went on the crowd grew, to over a thousand visitors and you could just see the smiles on people's faces and also the children's faces as they got closer to see the Winnie mobile. Even later on in the day they finally ran out of Winnie whistles, which they handed out over 2,000 of them. They were at Walmart from 1 pm to 5 pm, they even helped people take photos or even took photos with people near the Winnie mobile. They even played the famous Oscar Myer Winnie Song, " I Wish I was an Oscar Myer Wiener." And also the second one bologna lyrics, " My Bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R. My bologna has a second name, it's M-A-Y-E-R. Oh, I love to eat it every day, And if you ask me why say, Cause' Oscar Mayer has a way the B-O-L-O-G-N-A !!!


If you've ever wanted to become an illustrious Oscar Mayer Wienermobile driver, it may be time to start working on your application. Indeed, hot dog brand Oscar Myer, owned by Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC) recently announced that it is hiring drivers for its iconic, 27-foot, hotdog-shaped promotional vehicles. So what is Oscar Mayer Looking for in its next class of Hotdoggers?

Well, in a recent Instagram post, Oscar Mayer announced applications are open for the 87-year-old tradition of driving a hot dog. The company is looking for 12 full-time drivers of six Wienermobiles between June 2024 and June 2025. The gig will pay $35,600 along with a $150 weekly meal and travel allowance. The job will primarily consist of driving around the country daily and operating as a sort of mascot-on-wheels for Oscar Mayer.

"It's like they're running a PR firm on wheels," said Ed Roland. head of the Wienermobile program. "They're key content contributors to all of our social media channels. It's some of the highest-performing content for all of (...) content for all of (...) Kraft Heinz."

5 Things to Know Before Becoming the Next Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Driver

While the job may seem like a walk in the ball park, there are a few things worth keeping in mind before applying to repent the 37th class of Hotdoggers.

1. Hotdoggers travel an average of 20,000 miles a year, visiting "at least 40 cities" and attending 1,200 events.

2. "This is an extremely competitive position "Statistically speaking, more people have visited space than driven Wienermobile!" Roland said. Oscar Mayer has an average of between 1,000 and 1,500 applicants a year.

3. Qualifications for becoming a Hotdogger include strong communication skills, a bachelor's degree "preferably in something related to public relations, marketing, or journalism) and, of course, a love of hot dogs. Thankfully, applicants don't need any sort of special driver's license to operate the vehicle.

4. Applications are only open until Jan. 31. So, if this is your dream job, you better get cracking on your resume'!

5. The job has great benefits! Hotdoggers will receive health benefits, 18 days of paid time off, and full hotel expenses all covered expense all covered by Oscar Mayer.
