Ashland- Tonight was the 20th annual Ashland County Sheriff's Memorial Sheriff's Services held at Calvary Baptist Church as they remember the fallen officers of Ashland County and other officers who lost their lives in the line of duty since it is fallen officers memorial week. Several fellow officers of Ashland County, the Ashland Ohio Highway Patrol, and the Ashland Police Division, Ashland County Sheriff's Division only lost six officers alone over the years.
The fallen officers were: Lt. John Gisclon, Det. Sgt. Glenn Sturgill, Trooper James Gross, Ranger James Pitney, Deputy Jacob Helbert, Constable Wm Kelly. They wanted to extend a special thank you to Calvary Baptist Church and their staff for hosting our Memorial Service. " We are grateful to live in such a wonderful community."
